About us

Richard's first business was designing and making skydiving helmets in the 1980's. He went on to make flying jackets and then motoring helmets, becoming the manufacturer of the widest range of helmets for classic and vintage car clubs in the UK.  As a Tiger Moth pilot in the nineties, he found the old Nato cloth helmet too cold and noisy so he produced a Nato leather helmet for himself.  Soon other members of the club asked him to make them helmets and he started producing flying helmets. His English Classics and Aeronautica patterns are the basis of our range today, and we continue to develop and add new products to keep up to date with technology.
